The first segment of this half hour show features graduating senior Maddie Pressler. Pressler is an exercise science major, psychology minor who interned at the Monfort Human Performance Lab. In addition, she was also the varsity swim team captain, 3-time All-American, 4-time Academic All-American and 4-time RMAC champion. The Washington native, delves into her experiences at CMU throughout the past four years and her hopes to become a physical therapist after graduation on Saturday.
The second segment features national champion and student-athlete Sierra Arceneaux. She was a part of the women’s 4x400 indoor track team that won a national championship this past March. The relay quartet is the first Maverick relay to win a national championship and are the first female national champions in CMU NCAA history. Arceneaux discusses the balancing act of being a student-athlete and what it’s like having her twin sister on the track and field team.
